Military Officers Association of America's (MOAA) Kitsap Chapter hosted Leslie Mayne, Founder of the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation for a luncheon speech on Friday October 28th at the Bremerton Elks Lodge. Leslie also contributed a check to MOAA for $150 on behalf of the PTSD Foundation.
Wow, another year and another amazing event! From record numbers to perfect weather, and a crowd we couldn't be more proud of, we can't thank everyone enough that helped to make our 6th Annual Race For A Soldier the best one yet!

Join us September 25th for our annual Half Marathon and 5K. Let's get creative and show your colors. You don't have to be a professional artist but lets see what you can do with the colors RED, WHITE and BLUE.
Have fun with it, paint a cool symbol, animal, flag and show your spirit.

Once again, we're grateful to have the Tom Taylor Family YMCA as the start and finish location for the Sixth Annual Race For A Soldier Half Marathon. Race participants are welcome to access the facility at no cost after the race.
Like last year, child care will be included with this year's race if you register by September 19th and while space is available.

The Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation has been named Bonneville Seattle and Seattle Seahawks Charity of the Month for August! In addition to radio spots, public service announcements and a donation, the Foundation will be recognized at CenturyLink Field when the Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys on August 25th!
