The Tacoma Old Town Rhythm and Blues Festival is an amazing day of music and celebration in beautiful Old Town Tacoma. Each year the organization chooses a charity to support with the funds raised, and this year they have once again chosen the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation! It's a wonderful event, and we couldn't be more thrilled and honored to receive their support!
Mickey Traugutt, Scott Langlow, Rui Moura and Seth Storset proudly and happily represented the Permission to start Dreaming Foundation at the USO Red, White and Blue tournament at Newcastle on Thursday, June 16th.
We've always have a great relationship with USO Northwest, and for the fourth year in a row the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation was invited to attend the USO Northwest Red, White & Blue Golf Classic!
Once again, the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation has our booth at the Sound to Narrows where you can learn about our race, our foundation, as well as pick up a shirt or memorabilia. So swing by, say hi, and enjoy the race!
We are happy to announce the Permission To Start Dreaming Foundation will be participating in the Maritime Gig Festival parade on June 4th, 2016, and once again one of our major sponsors, Subaru of Puyallup, will reprise their role by loaning us another fine truck for the parade. Since the Civil War, Memorial Day has been a time of reflection and remembrance to those who have died in service to our country or will never return. The "missing man" table is a symbolic demonstration of showing gratitude and reverence for those who served and sacrificed their lives.
